About the role

  • Report to Manager, Team Member Service Centre
  • Administer starter/leaver processes including all documentation, contracts, offer letters
  • Manage induction processes and onboarding
  • Conduct Immigration Documentation checks for new starters and existing employees throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Work in partnership with HR and Payroll teams to ensure data records are consistently and accurately maintained
  • Prepare contracts/letters for any changes to employee terms and conditions
  • Support the implementation of Oracle HR system (enter and maintain data)
  • Prepare management reports on employee related data
  • Prepare reference requests and liaise with external companies
  • Act as first point of contact for general HR queries
  • Provide employee relations support
  • Provide general HR administration including filing, answering telephone, scanning, photocopying and emails
  • Support business critical projects and ensure compliance

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, within defined standards
  • Ability to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to undertake notes/minutes at meetings
  • Good personal organisation and a flexible approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Desired: Experience of Human Resources administration
  • Desired: Experience of producing accurate and complex employment/contractual documentation and correspondence
  • Desired: Good understanding of Right to Work requirements
  • Desired: Ability to provide basic advice on employment terms, conditions, policies and procedures
  • Desired: Experience of using Oracle - HR IT System or a similar HR IT System
  • Desired: Experience working in a HR Shared Services Team
