• Coordinate, develop, and document the technical vision and roadmap for End User Computing (EUC) and modern workplace technologies that enable and support Giant Tiger stores, Home Office, the Montréal Buying Office, and all team members, partnering with Enterprise Architecture to ensure the strategy meets current and future business needs.
• Coordinate, develop, and document the security vision and roadmap for EUC and modern workplace technologies that protect store, Home Office, and Montréal Buying Office environments, partnering with Information Security to ensure solutions align with organizational security policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure EUC, mobile, and modern workplace infrastructure is secure, available, current, recoverable, optimized, scalable, and cost-effective to deliver a reliable technology experience for store teams, Home Office, the Montréal Buying Office, and all Giant Tiger team members while supporting business growth.
• Ensure messaging and collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365) are secure, well-managed, maintained, recoverable, and up to date, following best practices to maximize collaboration and productivity for employees across stores, Home Office, and the Montréal Buying Office.
• Establish and maintain documented patch management processes for EUC and workplace technologies supporting stores, Home Office, and the Montréal Buying Office, ensuring compliance with Information Security policies and standards while minimizing business disruption.

Architect – EUC and Modern Workplace Technology

Analytics Engineer

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support BI, reporting, dashboard, semantic layer, and analytics solutions using approved BI, data warehouse, and cloud analytics platforms.
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI, data, and analytics deliverables that support business goals and a single version of the truth.
• Write, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL and BigQuery/GCP solutions to support reporting, analysis, reconciliation, data quality, and governed reporting.
• Develop and support BI platform objects, datasets, dashboards, visualizations, metrics, filters, prompts, semantic models, and other analytics components.
• Complete development tasks according to defined performance, cost, security, governance, data quality, and tool standards.
• Deliver assigned work within agreed timelines, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and technical quality expectations.
• Follow SDLC, Change Management, deployment, documentation, and DevOps procedures as defined by the team and organization.
• Create and execute technical testing, data validation, reconciliation, and production readiness activities.
• Monitor, tune, support, troubleshoot, and improve BI and data environments, including reports, dashboards, data refreshes, SQL performance, BigQuery cost/performance, data quality, standards, procedures, and operational reliability.
• Escalate delays, risks, blockers, and business-impacting issues to the appropriate project lead, manager, or support team.
• Apply automation, Python, JavaScript, AI, conversational analytics, and agent-based technologies where appropriate to improve analytics delivery, operational support, and business user experience.
• Collaborate with business, BI, data, integration, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to support reliable, scalable, and governed analytics solutions.

BI Developer, Data & Analytics

Customer Support

• Respond to customer and store inquiries via telephone, email, live chat, text and social media channels.
• Provide timely and effective solutions in response to inquiries and issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers and stores in a timely and effective manner meeting SLAs.
• Provide clear and precise documentation for stores to advise customers (Correction Notices)
• Accurately and efficiently provide notices to stores advising them of any non-food and Health & Safety Recalls.
• Recall & Customer notice must be both English and French
• Actively contribute ideas that will enhance the customer service experience.
• Drawing from BHD inquiry experiences, contribute to Merch Ops process improvement by periodically providing analysis and recommendations on issues & opportunities regarding Stores
• Provide Stores with information and details regarding potential issues or upcoming issues that could affect their business. (Store Communications)
• Manage work flow on the front end, manage customer/store flow, and report performance and policy issues to the Customer Service Supervisor

Customer Service Agent

Communications

• Plan, design, and maintain the Hot Topics internal communications website, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging weekly merchandising updates for stores.
• Execute the creation and maintenance of store layouts in Illustrator to support merchandising and store presentation requirements.
• Develop visual materials and mock-ups using Adobe Suites to support and execute monthly Softgoods, Hardgoods, and Grocery MKIPs and related initiatives.
• Maintain and organize the Content Management System for store layouts and other merchandising projects to support accessibility and consistency.
• Deliver readership and engagement reports through BI tools to identify communication trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate and maintain calendars, timelines, and approvals for MKIPs, drawing reviews, translations, and Hot Topics communications.

Store Presentation Communications Coordinator

Affiliate Manager

• Develop business plans in partnership with corporate stores, focused on improving P&L results and accelerating conversion to franchise ownership.
• Support franchise owners' efforts to grow their business by instilling entrepreneurial thinking, encouraging them to seize local opportunities, and to exercise freedom within a framework to maximize P&L results and build long-term wealth.
• Partner with Home Office teams and store leadership to identify regional trends and customer needs, ensuring localized assortments and in-store experiences align with brand standards while implementing operational excellence practices that drive traffic, sales, and customer satisfaction across the region.
• In partnership with the Franchisee Development Program team, support the selection and practical hands on training and evaluation to ensure readiness of our future franchise leaders (FITs).
• Champion new programs and initiatives in support of the GT Way, ensuring we are building trust through two-way communication/feedback.
