About the role

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand accounts and grow market share within assigned territories and customer segments
  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships and serve as a trusted resource on product capabilities, formulations, and applications
  • Identify opportunities with existing and prospective customers to exceed revenue targets
  • Conduct on-site visits, product presentations, plant tours, and customer meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with internal operations, production, and technical teams to support customer needs and ensure high service levels
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM updates, and sales reporting to management
  • Monitor industry trends, market activity, and competitor dynamics
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B outside sales; ingredients, food & beverage, flavor, nutraceutical, or Ag-related industries strongly preferred
  • Strong relationship-builder with consultative selling style
  • Self-driven and accountable with strong time management and territory planning skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to travel regionally and occasionally for national events
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
