About the role

  • Develop existing markets and identify new business opportunities;
  • Represent the company at trade events and with key partners;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention;
  • Qualify opportunities in terms of feasibility, strategic alignment, likelihood of winning, and profitability;
  • Collaborate with clients and their engineers to understand needs, constraints, requirements, timelines, and technical specifications for each new project;
  • Work with Gentec’s team to address customers’ technical questions;
  • Complete and analyze various metrics from software tools (including a CRM) to ensure sales targets are met;
  • Support the team responsible for preparing proposals and quotes using various software tools (CalcuQuote, Excel templates) and web resources (supplier and electronic component distributor websites);

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B business development within a technical environment (SME, electronic manufacturing).
  • Strategic ability to grow markets, identify high-value opportunities, and qualify projects based on feasibility, profitability, and strategic alignment.
  • Significant experience selling technical or custom solutions with complex sales cycles.
  • Proven experience representing the company to strategic clients and at industry events.
  • Experience collaborating closely with technical teams to define solutions and support proposals.
  • Excellent negotiation, representation, and senior client relationship management skills.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Comfortable with performance metrics, CRM systems, and sales tracking tools.
  • Natural leadership, high autonomy, and strong results orientation.
