Designer

• Participate in requirements analysis and task estimation under supervision
• Contribute to technical documentation (project plans, architecture, test reports, etc.)
• Collaborate on preparing project inputs and deliverables (e.g., functional specifications, backlog, code)
• Support the team in applying agile development methods (Scrum)
• Take part in software design (diagrams, schematics, design reviews)
• Perform supervised programming tasks
• Help set up and execute tests (unit tests, integration tests, etc.)
• Provide first-level support for existing products
• Perform other related tasks as required by the project and learning objectives.

Junior Embedded Software Designer

• Lead the preparation of software estimates for R&D project proposals
• Supervise or coordinate the preparation of project and validation plans
• Draft or validate software architecture documents
• Supervise the writing of test reports, including analysis of results
• Drive the definition of project inputs and outputs
• Actively participate in Agile project management
• Produce detailed software designs in the form of complex schematics and diagrams
• Implement critical module programming and guide the team’s development practices
• Establish and optimize different types of testing
• Conduct design and code reviews and ensure overall technical quality
• Diagnose complex software issues on existing products and recommend improvements
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers, share expertise and promote best practices
• Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes
• Perform any other tasks related to a senior role

Senior Software Designer

Manager

• Develop existing markets and identify new business opportunities;
• Represent the company at trade events and with key partners;
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention;
• Qualify opportunities in terms of feasibility, strategic alignment, likelihood of winning, and profitability;
• Collaborate with clients and their engineers to understand needs, constraints, requirements, timelines, and technical specifications for each new project;
• Work with Gentec’s team to address customers’ technical questions;
• Complete and analyze various metrics from software tools (including a CRM) to ensure sales targets are met;
• Support the team responsible for preparing proposals and quotes using various software tools (CalcuQuote, Excel templates) and web resources (supplier and electronic component distributor websites);
