About the role
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments in line with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
- Reconcile vendor accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage invoices parked or blocked for discrepancies and ensure resolution.
- Handle dispute resolution with vendors and ensure alignment with payments.
- Verify delivery notes with Logistics for missing entries upon material receipt.
- Perform quality controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support internal controls and provide documentation for audits (internal and external).
- Act as an interface between the Company and Suppliers, safeguarding company interests.
- Escalate to Management any issues that could cause production stops or potential fraud risks.
- Review, analyze, and resolve GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) items within assigned targets.
- Participate in meetings and calls to address GRNI issues with stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Education Level: Associate's Degree/College Diploma (listed in job metadata).
- Good accounting knowledge of Accounts Payable experience.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Previous experience working with SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills with ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented, professional, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
