About the role
- The Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the paid digital media strategy for Journeys in the US and Canada.
- Help execute paid social initiatives to achieve Journeys Group business objectives across a variety of social media: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
- Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to manage tasks and deadlines for paid social media campaigns.
- Organize, maintain, and execute weekly/monthly content calendars.
- Communicate, collaborate and work cross-functionally with the necessary teams/individuals to fulfill paid social content deliverables.
- Coordinate and test digital marketing awareness campaigns across emerging channels.
- Work closely with the organic social team to help boost and amplify organic social content.
- Work with our paid digital agency to assist with full-funnel, paid media efforts.
- Work cross-functionally to support and execute product launches and key brand stories.
- Coordinate with Retail team, Social Media team, and agency to recap all paid digital media efforts.
Requirements
- Organized & detail-oriented
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience and knowledge of social media content management
- Experience curating static assets and editing video assets
- Understanding of social-native content and creative
- Knowledgeable in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Collaborative approach and ability to work cross-functionally
- Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Asana
- Clear understanding of youth and cultural marketing a plus
- Knowledge of the Journeys Retail business is a plus
- Preferred 4-year degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Some travel may be required
