Contribute to projects in areas such as Purchasing (interior, exterior, thermal, chassis, propulsion, structures), Battery, Fuel Cells, Electrical Systems, Customer Care & Aftersales, Logistics (inbound/outbound), Demand Planning, Supplier Resiliency, Sustainability, and Program Purchasing
Work on hands-on tasks and deliverables during a 10- to 12-week summer internship
Requirements
Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Packaging, Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contract Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering
Must be graduating between December 2026 and August 2028
Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the summer months
Must be eligible to work without GM immigration-related sponsorship (no H1-B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, etc.)
Previous purchasing, logistics, or supply chain internship experience (preferred)
Participation in Supply Chain case competition team or similar school association (preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills (preferred)
Emerging partnership and teamwork skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, takes initiative/self-directed (preferred)
Consistently demonstrates innovative thinking that is customer-centric (preferred)
