Develop and refine technical models for capacity planning for GM’s AV infrastructure
Design and build automated analytical tools for monitoring capacity and demand signals
Partner with AI/ML engineering, infrastructure engineering, and cloud vendors to proactively identify and drive optimization projects to increase engineering and cost efficiencies

Requirements

5 + years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or related field or relevant work experience
Proficient in coding with Python (our preferred language)
Proficient in BI platforms
Experience with data modeling and working with SQL on large datasets such as BigQuery
Good understanding of distributed systems including modern ML system architecture and design
8 + years of relevant work experience (Preferred)
Proficient in coding with Pandas and NumPy (Preferred)
Proficient in Looker and BigQuery (Preferred)
Good communication skills (Preferred)
Experience executing cross functional projects (Preferred)
Experience with Git, Linux, and common Linux CLI tooling (Preferred)
Experience with analyzing billing and usage data in GCP (Preferred)
Experience with modern ML system architecture and design (Preferred)
Experience with forecasting capacity demand (Preferred)
