About the role
- Own the long-term product vision, setting strategic direction for increasing trust in Simulation across GM and making it more cost effective
- Build novel frameworks and metrics to measure and improve the overall and component level validity and reliability of the Simulation
- Drive innovations to increase the scalability and cost effectiveness of the Sim infrastructure
- Deliver a cohesive testing platform that aligns the needs of AV software developers and AV systems engineers
- Communicate complex information in an easy to understand narrative to stakeholders across GM
- Help drive a data-driven culture and establish and monitor key metrics to measure the effectiveness of Simulation Testing products
Requirements
- 5+ years product management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields
- Solid understanding of the latest Simulation platforms, ML orchestration infrastructure and validation workflows
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects forward, even without a clear path
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Proven ability to balance tradeoffs between user needs and expectations, technical requirements and constraints, and business objectives
- Demonstrated expertise in writing, with the ability to effectively balance and integrate vision, strategy, and technical details in a cohesive narrative
