About the role
- Build and maintain operational plans, track milestones, and proactively manage risks to ensure on-time delivery of Modes features.
- Drive alignment across product quads and support vehicle launch deliverables, issue resolution, and cross-team integration.
- Lead adoption of tools and operational rhythms (e.g., Jira Align Cloud, Jira).
- Conduct readiness reviews, launch syncs, and executive-level reporting leveraging PMO dashboards.
- Forecast resources, manage program risks, and ensure safety-critical software development compliance.
- Provide leadership with insights on dependencies, trade-offs, and overall program health.
- Facilitate regular syncs to ensure clarity on current priorities and upcoming initiatives.
- Travel between Toronto, Canada and Mountain View, California as needed (2–3x/year).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in Program Management or Engineering
- 5+ years managing complex software or systems programs through full development-to-launch cycles
- Direct experience with Body systems (Cabin Thermal, Lighting & Visibility, Vehicle Access) in engineering or program management
- Proven ability to align cross-functional teams across product, engineering, supply chain, and operations
- Experience influencing within matrixed organizations with strong executive presence
- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies; proficiency with JAC, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet or similar tools
- Exceptional technical and non-technical communication skills with ability to present data-driven insights to leadership
- Demonstrated success operating in complex automotive systems environments
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle regularly
- Ability to travel (2 – 3x/year)
