About the role
- Lead and develop a team of 12 engineers/project leaders across diverse test solution projects
- Own end-to-end project management for global software rollouts, hardware integrations, and development initiatives
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for GM’s global test software applications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to scope, deliver, and commission new capital test equipment
- Ensure software systems engineering rigor, project scoping discipline, and test data quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of project management experience, including large-scale software or systems rollouts
- Strong understanding of database and software architecture
- Proven track record of delivering successful software projects
- Recognized ability to thrive in ambiguous, complex environments while driving timely decisions
- Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
