Procurement

• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for goods, services and supplies
• Develop and execute sourcing strategy, evaluate product offerings and recommend suppliers
• Gather business requirements and pre-qualify potential suppliers
• Develop and distribute RFPs/RFQs and collect bids
• Evaluate proposals/quotes and recommend suppliers based on quality and cost
• Work with selected suppliers to develop mutually acceptable contractual agreements
• Oversee tactical purchasing operations such as issuance of purchase orders and invoice payment
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
• May lead functional teams or projects and work independently with minimal guidance
• Hybrid position: 3 days onsite, work from home other days; 9/80 schedule
