Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to gather information and ensure technical accuracy
Create style guides, develop and maintain templates and content standards to ensure consistency and quality across documents
Manage documentation through its lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, publishing, and maintaining updates
Review and edit material for punctuation, grammar, and content; identify and modify contextual errors; reorganize content; and edit graphics, tables, and illustrations
Translate technical information into engaging and accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences
Update and improve existing knowledge base(s) to improve knowledge article content
Support the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions
Create training materials, job aids, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks, knowledge transfer, incident and problem resolution
Accurately record key information from meetings to create official, verifiable records
Communicate documentation changes and updates to customer, management and operations staff
Gain a deep understanding of systems and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished content
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent combination of certification and experience
Minimum of 8 years of technical writing or related experience
5+ Years of experience developing comprehensive documentation that meets organizational and customer standards
5+ Years of experience writing, formatting, and organizing deep technical knowledge into documents that can be incorporated into document sharing platforms
Experience reviewing knowledge management systems and knowledge artifacts
Required Skills: Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise text, strong command of English grammar, style, and syntax, and ability to work independently and deliver accurate content under deadline pressure

Preferred Tools: Microsoft Office Suite (to include Project, SharePoint, and Viso), Adobe Acrobat Pro, ITSM (ex. ServiceNow, Jira Service Management)
Preferred Skills: Technical understanding of computer networks, IT security, IT risk management (RMF), usability testing, design specifications, Scrum practices, and an understanding of software development (SDLC)
Additional Skills: Previous experience in cybersecurity is a plus
