About the role
- Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Contracts Manager at GDIT
- Manages the negotiation and administration of government contracts
- Has an understanding of all contract types FFP, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, FPLOE, and IDIQ
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to include communication, strategizing, and presenting
- Manage a team of contracts administrators to provide leadership and guidance of workload
- Provide the expertise to solve issues or concerns within a reasonable timeframe
- Assist with reviews of RFI and RFP, provide recommendations to Capture
- Support solving clients’ biggest challenges and help grow the business
Requirements
- Bachelors degree Required
- 5+ years of related Contracts Administration experience
- Must have an active TS/SCI. Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Poly as needed.
- US Citizenship required
- Skills: Business Strategies, Contract Compliance, Contract Management, Contracts, Negotiation
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- Leadership abilities; manage a team of contracts administrators
- Understanding of contract types: FFP, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, FPLOE, and IDIQ
- Location requirement: onsite at GDIT facility in Herndon, VA; onsite three days a week minimum
- Travel Required: Less than 10%
