About the role
- Deliver simple solutions to complex problems and tailor cutting-edge solutions to client requirements
- Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems
- Support systems integration of hardware, software, operating systems and communications; maintain Splunk environment
- Manage distributed Splunk deployment architecture, index clusters, and search head clusters
- Provide design, development, and implementation support; prepare specifications, code, system tests, and documentation
- Develop dashboards, reports, and complex custom Splunk queries; create and manage Splunk knowledge objects
- Normalize disparate data sets and integrate multiple data streams into near real-time dashboards for analysis
- May support installation of physical and software components
Requirements
- Active SECRET security clearance required and must be able to obtain Top Secret
- US Citizenship required
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or 4 years of additional experience
- 4+ years of related experience, including 2+ years of Splunk experience
- Skills: Splunk Administration, Splunk Enterprise Security, Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring
- Able to work remotely but may transition to on-site in Washington, D.C.; travel 10-25%
