About the role
- Lead and oversee the administration and optimization of outside counsel management technology platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Manage law firm onboarding, rate negotiations, and invoice review processes to align with organizational objectives and cost-control strategies.
- Establish and enforce best practices for governance, reporting, and performance monitoring across the outside counsel network.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing innovative solutions to enhance legal spend management and strengthen vendor relationships.
- Manage panel development initiatives, including RFP coordination and leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and panel performance evaluation.
- Provide leadership in analytics, ensuring actionable insights for budgeting, forecasting, and relationship management.
- Maintain a high level of organizational agility, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering measurable results.
Requirements
- Experience with legal billing, LEDES files, e-Billing systems
- Well organized with good verbal and written communication skills
- 4-year degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Law or related field
- Minimum 3 year experience
