About the role
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and brand partners to support day‑to‑day social media activities and campaign execution
- Assist with the content creation, post-production, scheduling, and publishing of social media content across mainstream social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
- Social-media native, strong experience in content creation and production for individuals and/or brands including static image, video, audio and other media that can be purposed/re-purposed across social channels and social content types (videos, reels, etc.) to support platform/audience reach and expansion
- Capture, create and curate compelling content for the brand and individual company spokespersons/executives
- Support content ideation by researching trends, hashtags, and best practices relevant to target audiences
- Draft engaging captions and copy that align with brand voice and messaging guidelines
- Monitor social media channels and assist with community engagement, flagging comments, questions, or issues as needed
- Assist with tracking social media metrics and compiling performance reports to evaluate engagement and effectiveness
- Contribute to the creation of presentations and summaries that highlight campaign performance, insights, and recommendations
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on marketing, communications, digital media, journalism, business, or a related field
- 3.0 overall GPA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas
- Video and image capture, editing, and post-production
- Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
- Interest in social media, digital marketing, brand storytelling, and audience engagement
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
