About the role
- Execute multiple HR processes and support across all HR service categories.
- Address employee HR-related queries about local regulations and internal HR policy.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Handle payroll-related tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
- Develop in-depth, end-to-end knowledge of company HR operations systems and processes.
- Emphasize data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions.
- Provide coverage and support as needed and promote “Best in Class” service.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and HR Manager to enhance processes and implement best practices.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Japanese with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR and payroll experience in Japan.
- Comprehensive understanding of Japanese HR policies and labor laws.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred: Certification in HR or payroll management.
- Preferred: Experience in a multinational corporation or similar environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with HR software and systems.
