About the role
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential DAC project sites
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop project proposals or schedules
- Help advance projects through the development phase along key internal and external stakeholders
- Support the due diligence process for new projects, including feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Help coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, investors, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the DAC industry
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of DAC projects, tracking progress and milestones
- Support the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements
- Develop and deploy AI-first commercialization processes to support a range of applications in the commercial function
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote DAC projects and technologies
- Assist in the creation of compelling content for various channels, including website, social media, and press releases
- Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and events to gain market insights, raise awareness and generate interest
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed
- Stay informed about relevant policies, regulations, and incentives related to DAC and carbon removal
- Engage with government agencies, policymakers, and industry associations to advocate for supportive policies
- Represent the company in public forums, providing expert insights and thought leadership on DAC technologies
- Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in project development, business development, commercialization within the energy or carbon management sectors.
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, Direct Air Capture and carbon removal technologies, and project monetization schema (e.g., voluntary and carbon compliance markets)
