About the role

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) across all wind operations in North America
  • Champion a proactive safety culture that prioritizes employee well-being and operational excellence
  • Interface with customers and contractors to communicate EHS performance, expectations, and compliance requirements
  • Define and implement clear roles and responsibilities for the EHS field team to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Utilize analytics and leading indicators to identify trends, predict risks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in the field of EHS or engineering
  • 15+ years of EHS leadership experience, ideally in renewable energy or industrial sectors
  • Proven ability to lead distributed teams and influence across a matrix organization
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data for decision-making
  • Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally and externally to influence outcomes
