About the role

  • Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have” insights
  • Talent management technology includes solutions that support talent/leadership identification, review and assessment
  • Provide high quality and timely peer review for research content written by Gartner team members
  • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership
  • Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice aligned to their designated content area
  • Create and deliver high value presentation materials on and off stage
  • Support BTI and Sales: Provide sales support serving as voice of the market
  • Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner insights
  • Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions
  • Identify research process improvements or develop new processes

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience in strategic planning and implementation of talent management technology
  • Knowledge of talent and leadership identification and development, employee listening, competency models, performance management, succession planning, feedback, skills, change management and people analytics
  • Experience and comfort advising and working with CHROs and their peers
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
  • Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams
  • Demonstrate executive presence; can immediately establish credibility with C-level executives
  • Demonstrate superior analytical skills
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
