About the role

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to clients who are CPOs from Global 1000 organizations
  • Engages clients to identify mission-critical priorities and key initiatives
  • Manages a portfolio of senior executive client relationships
  • Participates in account planning with Account Executives
  • Supports research activities
  • Defines and delivers innovative solutions based on client needs and overall Gartner Procurement strategy
  • Establishes and maintains working relationships with various internal groups
  • Participates in presentations and relevant research communities

Requirements

  • A university graduate (Masters preferred)
  • 10+ years’ experience working in a senior management role, as a CPO, typically as a SVP, or EVP capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; no whiff of arrogance about them
  • Ability and experience working with C level executives
  • Strong EQ and ability to demonstrate reflective listening skills
  • Strong time/project management skills
  • In-depth understanding of Procurement industry
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
