About the role
- Serves as a trusted advisor to clients who are CPOs from Global 1000 organizations
- Engages clients to identify mission-critical priorities and key initiatives
- Manages a portfolio of senior executive client relationships
- Participates in account planning with Account Executives
- Supports research activities
- Defines and delivers innovative solutions based on client needs and overall Gartner Procurement strategy
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with various internal groups
- Participates in presentations and relevant research communities
Requirements
- A university graduate (Masters preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience working in a senior management role, as a CPO, typically as a SVP, or EVP capacity
- Excellent interpersonal skills; no whiff of arrogance about them
- Ability and experience working with C level executives
- Strong EQ and ability to demonstrate reflective listening skills
- Strong time/project management skills
- In-depth understanding of Procurement industry
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
