About the role
- Create high quality, clear, actionable, “must-have research” content
- Develop new research and ideas through thought leadership
- Identify the root cause of a client’s barriers or overall needs
- Advise business and supply chain executives on best practices
- Provide C-level clients with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions
- Provide sales support and help research teams create content
- Create and deliver presentation materials for various events
- Provide high quality and timely research content peer review
- Predict how specific markets are developing
- Build credibility as a domain or industry expert
- Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions
- Mentor and coach junior team members
- Direct experience working with a Chief Supply Chain Officer or in partnership with supply chain leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
- Professional certification (e.g., ASQ, APICS, Six Sigma) are beneficial
- 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience
- Experience in a large end-user organization, consultancy, or a vendor focused on quality or supply chain technology
- Significant experience developing, leading, or managing quality management programs
- A robust understanding of key supply chain processes (e.g., S&OP, IBP, Demand/Supply Planning)
- Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrate executive presence; can establish credibility with executives
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Demonstrate superior analytical skills
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Experience integrating quality management systems with supply chain operations
- Comfortable presenting at various speaking engagements
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
