About the role
- Lead the evaluation of innovative technology solutions across COEs/DCs.
- Benchmark solutions strategically, translating internal requirements into recommended providers.
- Provide subject matter expertise to influence technology adoption and alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Own complex, cross-functional AP and PDM–approved programs.
- Manage proofs of concept end-to-end—from planning through execution and operational readiness.
- Lead project rollouts, ensuring compliance with approvals from Legal, ER, Real Estate, A&E, Store Maintenance, and Brand.
- Capture stakeholder requirements and lead vendor selection for proof of concept.
- Coordinate vendor demos and approvals to ensure compliance and readiness for deployment.
- Drive vendor relationships to ensure deliverables align with business needs.
- Own multiple product platforms, ensuring alignment with Gap Inc.’s strategy and roadmap.
- Advocate for customers, ensuring solutions address operational or user challenges.
- Deliver product releases and enhancements with measurable business impact.
- Articulate product value through qualitative and quantitative measures.
- Oversee process maps and ensure program alignment and clarity.
- Maintain the Tech Innovation Hub as an authoritative resource.
- Collect and synthesize stakeholder feedback to drive product and process improvements.
- Influence peers and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
- Drive adoption of change initiatives and ensure project success.
- Deliver measurable outcomes such as operational efficiency, adoption, or time savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; project management certification required (e.g., CAPM, PMP).
- 5+ years of Operations experience, with proven expertise in technology solutions, process improvement, and managing complex projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, influence, and build consensus across cross-functional teams and business leaders.
- Uses rigorous logic and structured methods to analyze complex operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Builds constructive, long-term relationships with a broad and diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple initiatives and priorities effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and business objectives achieved.
- Influential, articulate, and confident in presenting ideas and guiding teams; capable of mentoring and developing direct reports or peers.
