About the role
- Set and steward the visual design vision across comms and engagement channels, ensuring work is conceptually strong, culturally relevant, and on brand.
- Own final creative direction and approval across experiential design, visual identity, campaigns, and brand moments.
- Translate brand strategy and communications objectives into clear creative frameworks and immersive visual concepts.
- Lead concept development and creative direction for experiential activations, installations, branded events, and 360° brand experiences.
- Oversee how brand stories are expressed in physical space—through layout, materials, lighting, signage, color, and interaction.
- Partner with environmental designers, producers, and fabricators to bring experiences to life, ensuring creative integrity through execution.
- Own and evolve visual identities across experiential, digital, print, and social touchpoints.
- Develop and maintain style guides, creative toolkits, templates, and scalable design systems that support brand growth and consistency.
- Establish creative standards that enable teams to work faster without sacrificing quality.
- Lead, manage, and grow an interdisciplinary creative team of full-time and freelance talent, including designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators.
- Set clear creative direction, provide thoughtful feedback, and mentor team members to do their best work.
- Oversee creative resourcing, workflows, and quality control in partnership with producers and cross-functional leads.
- Oversee creative and art direction and production of photography, video, motion, and content assets from concept through execution.
- Direct on-set and on-location shoots, ensuring cohesion with brand tone, campaign goals, and experiential narratives.
- Guide the development of social-first content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, extending physical experiences into digital storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with communications, events, social, and marketing partners to ensure cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints.
- Present creative concepts to senior stakeholders, clearly articulating vision, rationale, and executional approach.
- Stay current on experiential, cultural, and design trends to continuously push creative boundaries.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership, including senior Designer, Art Director and/ or Creative Director roles.
- A strong visual storyteller with deep understanding of how design, space, motion, and content work together to drive brand impact.
- A confident and strategic leader with experience managing cross-disciplinary creative teams.
- Proven ability to concept and execute across both 2D and 3D environments, with a sharp eye for detail and systems thinking.
- Deep expertise in branding, typography, color, layout, print, and environmental/spatial design.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to sell ideas to senior internal stakeholders.
- Experience working within a creative studio, agency, or in-house brand team.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex organization and managing multiple workstreams at once.
