Production Assistant

• Assist in the organization of the daily work of one or more manufacturing cells.
• Support other manufacturing support operations such as purchasing, inventory management, and ERP management.
• Close work orders ensuring all material and labor allocations have been fulfilled when compared to the planned requirements.
• Communicate shortages and discrepancies to the Supply Chain Manager and assist with correcting said discrepancies.
• Use the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to assist with the creation and release work orders based on forecasted and actual demand.
• Lead or assist in regularly scheduled cycle counts.
• Pull, allocate, and issue material requirements for kits and customer shipments.
• Input production performance parameters into the ERP software.
• Perform administrative work related to closing and storing production work orders IAW company policies.
• Review raw material, work in progress (WIP), and finished good inventory as needed to support production planning processes.
• Develop and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to these key responsibilities.

Mechanical Engineer

• Design components, sub-assemblies, and systems relative to general aviation aircraft.
• Create, issue, and revise certification programs, test plans, and reports.
• Collaborate with the Aircraft Certification Office (ACO) on major change approvals.
• Maintain the change register.
• Conduct design audits with the ACO.
• Work with FAA and foreign regulators on type certificate validations.
• Using SolidWorks, create, modify, and update engineering drawings.
• Lead engineering teams in completing design and certification projects.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve product quality and safety.

Aerospace Design Engineer

Operator

• Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines, ensuring precise production by reviewing blueprints and taking accurate measurements.
• Select appropriate machines, plan tasks, and monitor production making necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean workstation, oversee multiple CNC machines, and handle complex tasks.
• Monitor the machine or machines during a production run to ensure properly produced parts.
• Inspect dimensions and features of the machined part while keeping the CNC machine running at an optimal pace for production requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize machining processes.
