About the role
- Coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects and mentor newer team members
- Serve as a bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact
- Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project
- Analyze, plan, design, document or recommend improvements to business processes to support client technology goals
- Verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results
- Use analytical or relational database software (Excel, SQL) to quantify anticipated impact of work
- Support Prior Authorization and BPA-related initiatives and system configuration tasks
Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position
- Preferred experience with Prior Authorization (PA) processes and/or Business Process Automation (BPA) systems
- Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
- Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL
- Experience with requirement-mapping tools such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
- Strong client communication skills translating client needs to actionable objectives
- Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Leadership skills to motivate others and mentor junior team members
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
- Video cameras must be used during interviews, initial orientation week, and all client meetings
