About the role
- Support the Business Development Director in GAIN Creative Studio to drive the new business machine
- Craft and deliver proposals, tenders and pitch presentations that delight and excite prospects
- Be involved in closing opportunities and onboarding new clients into the agency successfully
- Nurture a long-term pipeline of new business prospects
- Proactively develop well-considered outbound activity appropriate to our targets
- Identify tender frameworks and deliver what is required to make this happen
- Attend conferences, events, and meetings to raise our profile
- Actively seek out opportunities to develop brand reputation
- Support the BDD with the internal pitch process
- Ensure agency process for pitch preparation is efficient, consistent and effective
- Maintain excellent relationships across internal departments to secure necessary resources
- Drive the standard of new business output for the agency
- Communicate regularly to the wider internal team about business opportunities being pursued
- Monitor competitor activity and produce creative and relevant activities
Requirements
- A strong writer and communicator when it comes to compiling and writing RFI's
- Well versed in setting up and running Hubspot
- Well versed in managing marketing budgets to help drive sales
- Weekly reporting to get a pulse of what’s happening and monthly bigger picture reports will be required to help steer the new business effort
- Able to motivate and inspire others to do great work
- Strong communicator, able to get complex ideas across to others in straightforward language
- A skilled, engaging, charismatic and confident presenter
- Able to demonstrate a high level of resilience
- Commercially astute and able to quickly identify, understand and articulate a range of strategic business challenges to identify and leverage opportunities
- Strong collaborator with multiple partners and proven influencing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to flex style and approach according to the audiences
