About the role
- Execute a range of live events within the B2B division, delivering an exceptional customer event experience
- Develop event concepts, communicate with partners, streamline processes, manage budgets, and ensure logistical excellence
- Report to the Director, B2B Events
- Complete a range of live events and oversee creative delivery of concept, vision, communications, registration, set-up, technology, and logistics
- Conduct site visits and present information to team members
- Manage timelines and stakeholders for event deliverables (marketing, content, sales)
- Help develop concepts/solutions for custom event pitches and prioritize competing tasks
- Source, negotiate terms, and manage vendors/contractors for venues, F&B, printers, and production
- Negotiate costs related to show production, features, and staffing and manage insurance requirements
- Oversee conference producers, deadlines, delivery milestones, and sponsor communications
- Manage event budgets (forecasting, maintenance, reconciliation) and project teams
- Produce post-event reports with recommendations and developments
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience at the event producer/event manager level in a conference or trade show environment.
- Expertise in managing end-to-end execution of live events, including high-profile and complex productions
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficiency in budget management, including accurate forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- A commitment to a high standard of work.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana), and event-specific software.
