Security Engineer

• Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls across cloud infrastructure, web applications, and internal systems.
• Support secure configuration of services, including access controls, secrets management, and API security.
• Help review and improve the security of components related to identity, authentication, and transaction workflows.
• Participate in threat modelling exercises and security reviews for new features and system changes.
• Help identify common security risks and misconfigurations, and work with engineers to remediate them.
• Stay informed about common attack vectors and vulnerabilities relevant to modern cloud and web environments.
• Assist with monitoring, detection, and investigation of security alerts and events.
• Support incident response activities, including analysis, documentation, and follow-up remediation tasks.
• Help maintain and improve runbooks, alerts, and basic detection mechanisms.
• Contribute to secure development practices, including code reviews with a security lens.
• Help document and promote security guidelines for engineers, such as secure coding and secrets handling.
• Support ongoing efforts related to compliance readiness (e.g., evidence gathering, control checks).
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to integrate security into day-to-day development.
• Learn from senior security engineers and actively develop your skills in cloud security, application security, and infrastructure security.

Head of Partnerships

Mechanical Engineer

• Design, prototype, build and test high-voltage battery management electronics for Fuse Energy’s stationary storage and grid-connected systems
• Own end-to-end PCBA development, including requirements definition, schematic capture, PCB layout, design reviews and design for manufacturability
• Develop automated validation setups and test firmware/software to ensure comprehensive functional, performance and safety coverage of BMS designs
• Support the transition of designs from prototype to production, including supplier engagement, bring-up and production test strategy
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to define hardware–software interfaces, diagnostics and safety mechanisms
• Work closely with mechanical and systems engineers to ensure electrical designs are optimised for thermal performance, isolation and environmental constraints
• Perform detailed failure analysis and root-cause investigations on PCBAs and systems in both lab and field environments
• Evaluate, select and integrate battery monitoring ICs, microcontrollers, isolation components and communication interfaces suitable for high-voltage applications
• Continuously improve designs to optimise reliability, component availability and BOM cost as systems scale

Electronics Design Engineer, BMS

Compliance

• Plan, set up and execute hands-on validation, verification and compliance tests on Fuse Energy hardware systems, both in laboratory environments and on live sites
• Prepare systems for external certification and type testing, coordinating with notified bodies, test houses and third-party laboratories
• Support in-field testing, commissioning and acceptance activities at customer, partner or pilot sites to validate safety, performance and grid interoperability
• Execute targeted test campaigns covering areas such as electrical safety (LVD), EMC, grid code compliance (e.g. G99/G100 and EU equivalents), functional safety and environmental requirements
• Identify, analyse and troubleshoot hardware, firmware and system-level issues uncovered during testing, working closely with design and software engineers to drive corrective actions
• Translate regulatory and standards requirements into clear internal test plans, acceptance criteria and validation strategies
• Develop and maintain thorough test documentation, including test procedures, reports, evidence packs and compliance dossiers for internal use and external audits
• Communicate test results, risks and compliance status clearly to engineering, operations and leadership teams, supporting informed technical and commercial decisions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Fuse’s compliance, testing and quality processes as products and deployments scale

• Support day-to-day HR operations including employee onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and record management.
• Maintain and update HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Assist in preparing employment contracts, letters, and internal HR communications.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and compliance procedures.
• Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and validating attendance, leave records, and employee changes.
• Handle general employee inquiries and escalate issues when needed.
• Support performance review cycles.
