About the role

  • Own and evolve Fullscript’s business performance measurement approach, ensuring clarity, consistency, and trust in core metrics across the organization.
  • Partner with the VP of Strategic Finance, CFO, and executive leadership to ensure analytics and insights are execution-ready for business performance reviews, strategic deep dives, and key investment decisions.
  • Synthesize complex analyses into clear, decision-ready narratives that connect performance, drivers, and tradeoffs — not just outcomes.
  • Help establish a shared understanding of what good performance looks like and how progress is measured over time.
  • Embed analytics deeply into the company’s highest-priority initiatives, ensuring data and insight are tightly integrated into strategy definition, execution, and performance measurement.
  • Support strategic planning by sizing opportunities, evaluating tradeoffs, and defining success metrics that meaningfully guide execution.
  • Ensure analytics work is focused on the highest-leverage business questions, not just ad hoc requests.
  • Lead a team of analytics leaders and their embedded teams across the business, with clear accountability for day-to-day execution within each lane.
  • Establish clear standards for analytical quality, consistency, and timeliness — ensuring metrics, methodologies, and conclusions are aligned and trusted across teams, and that insights arrive early enough to meaningfully influence decisions.
  • Establish clear operating models, prioritization frameworks, and intake processes that balance responsiveness with strategic focus.
  • Maintain high standards for analytical rigor, data quality, and storytelling while empowering teams to operate autonomously and close to execution.
  • Act as a connective leader between Finance and execution teams, ensuring insights are operationalized with clear ownership, quality standards, and execution follow-through.
  • Partner closely with Strategic Finance and FP&A to align forecasting, performance tracking, and long-term planning.
  • Help evolve Finance’s role as a strategic partner by improving how performance insights inform planning, prioritization, and accountability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, strategy, or related expertise, with significant experience partnering with senior leaders.
  • Proven success leading analytics and data science teams, including senior individual contributors and people leaders, in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong analytical judgment and technical fluency — able to review, challenge, and guide analytical work without needing to be hands-on in the tools.
  • Experience setting standards for analytical rigor, data quality, and consistency, and holding teams accountable to them.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into clear, decision-ready narratives for executive audiences.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities evolve and tradeoffs must be made.
  • Strong collaborator and influencer, able to drive alignment across Finance, Product, and Commercial teams without formal authority.
