Consultant

• Act as Principal Designer and ensure client duties are fulfilled under CDM 2015
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the pre-construction phase of projects, including submission of F10 notifications to the HSE
• Advise clients and project teams on health and safety and design risk management throughout design and construction
• Ensure design team compliance with CDM 2015, reviewing and assisting with Design Risk Assessments
• Prepare and review key project health and safety documentation, including pre-construction information, risk assessments, method statements and Health & Safety Files
• Conduct CDM site audits and monitor health and safety performance on behalf of the client
• Attend design, site and progress meetings to support effective communication between contractors, designers and clients
• Provide support to Senior Consultants on complex or high-risk projects
• Review O&M manuals and ensure accurate and compliant handover documentation
• Uphold health and safety standards and support environmental and social impact
• Carry out additional duties in line with the role as required

H&S CDM Consultant

Quantity Surveyor

• Lead the production and management of cost plans, life cycle costing, cash flow forecasts and benchmarking using relevant data sources
• Oversee procurement activities, including preparation of tender documentation, bills of quantities, pricing documents, procurement reports, and managing the full tender and evaluation process
• Manage contract negotiations, prepare and collate contract documents, and act as a key client liaison throughout pre- and post-contract stages
• Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent, including issuing instructions, managing snagging, overseeing practical completion, and post-contract duties
• Manage post-contract responsibilities such as interim valuations, cost reporting, change control, evaluation of variations, final accounts, and dispute resolution
• Contribute to and oversee risk registers, value engineering, and value management reporting
• Support the Associate Director in fee bids, resource and fee management, reporting, and maintaining client relationships
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Assistant and Quantity Surveyors
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to internal systems and sign-off of invoices
• Maintain quality assurance standards and best practice procedures across all projects
• Uphold health and safety standards and support environmental and social impact
• Carry out additional duties in line with the role as required

Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Support the consultant team with the delivery of Principal Designer duties in accordance with CDM 2015
• Attend design risk management throughout design and construction
• Support our Consultant Team with advising the Project Design Team, members including client organisations, on Health and Safety risk management matters
• Support Consultants with critical appraisal of Design Risk Assessments submitted by Project Design Team
• Assist with the updating of CDM Compliance Registers and completion of Design Risk Assessments
• Assist with the preparation of Health and Safety project documentation
• Learn key communication skills with contractors, designers, and clients
• Understanding how designers comply with CDM 2015 regulations
• Assist with the plan, coordinate and management of the pre-construction phase of projects
• Assist with the development / review of project pre-construction information
• Attend construction site CDM Audits to review management arrangements on the clients behalf
• Submission of F10 notification to the HSE
• Attending design, pre-construction site meetings and progress meetings
