About the role

  • Lead and coordinate all key client account activities across the regional energy‑generation market
  • Build long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders in offshore wind, pumped hydro storage, tidal energy, and emerging renewable sectors
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client priorities, market dynamics, and sector developments
  • Drive a structured “zipper” engagement model to connect Fugro and client counterparts
  • Develop clear, actionable account plans aligned with corporate strategy and regional business objectives
  • Facilitate intelligence sharing across the organisation
  • Collaborate with the Offshore Wind Strategy Manager and regional commercial leadership
  • Gather and share client feedback, support issue resolution, and contribute to proposal strategies
  • Maintain CRM accuracy by ensuring key contacts, opportunities, and project information are consistently updated
  • Represent Fugro at industry events
  • Work with solution owners to drive innovation uptake
  • Maintain strong relationships with project managers throughout project delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, marketing, or related discipline
  • Experience in commercial roles such as Key Account Management or Business Development
  • Deep, demonstrable knowledge of energy‑sector clients, especially within offshore wind and other renewable‑generation markets
  • Management experience in roles such as Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, or Key Account Manager, ideally within the renewable‑energy industry
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, influence decision‑making, and drive sustainable commercial results in complex energy‑sector environments
  • Strong capability in strategic thinking, client engagement, and operational excellence
  • Proficiency in English
