About the role
- Lead and coordinate all key client account activities across the regional energy‑generation market
- Build long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders in offshore wind, pumped hydro storage, tidal energy, and emerging renewable sectors
- Maintain a deep understanding of client priorities, market dynamics, and sector developments
- Drive a structured “zipper” engagement model to connect Fugro and client counterparts
- Develop clear, actionable account plans aligned with corporate strategy and regional business objectives
- Facilitate intelligence sharing across the organisation
- Collaborate with the Offshore Wind Strategy Manager and regional commercial leadership
- Gather and share client feedback, support issue resolution, and contribute to proposal strategies
- Maintain CRM accuracy by ensuring key contacts, opportunities, and project information are consistently updated
- Represent Fugro at industry events
- Work with solution owners to drive innovation uptake
- Maintain strong relationships with project managers throughout project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, marketing, or related discipline
- Experience in commercial roles such as Key Account Management or Business Development
- Deep, demonstrable knowledge of energy‑sector clients, especially within offshore wind and other renewable‑generation markets
- Management experience in roles such as Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, or Key Account Manager, ideally within the renewable‑energy industry
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, influence decision‑making, and drive sustainable commercial results in complex energy‑sector environments
- Strong capability in strategic thinking, client engagement, and operational excellence
- Proficiency in English
