About the role

  • interviewing, screening, and extending offers to potential field and office employees
  • assists the Talent and Workforce Management functions in the successful implementation of various departmental initiatives and programs
  • conducts presentations at high schools and technical schools
  • establishes and maintains relationships with area schools
  • attends various recruiting events
  • performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria
  • screens and refers applicants to hiring personnel in the organization
  • interviews applicants for posted and future employment opportunities
  • establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers
  • attends weekly staffing meetings
  • processes candidates as appropriate after interviewing
  • completes new hire paperwork as needed
  • assists with providing guidance and interpretation to hiring managers with regards to Human Resources policies

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business
  • One year of Human Resources experience or Education:
  • An Associate’s degree
  • Two years administrative experience in Human Resources
  • 20-50% travel
