About the role

  • Manage the technical engineering of new apparatus compressor orders, including airend only, standard industrial, air separation, and engineered full units.
  • Balance priorities of safety, quality, cost, and schedule and act as cognizant technical lead interfacing with company departments and customers.
  • Attend, support, and lead technical portions of project meetings, status updates, design reviews, pre-inspection, pre-shipment, customer witness, and final inspections.
  • Work with Sales, Sales Support, and Product Management to address scope of supply or customer related discrepancies or issues.
  • Review customer specifications and manage technical design specifications to ensure compliance with project contractual requirements.
  • Draft and submit change orders for creation or revision of manufacturing drawings; prepare and submit purchase requisitions for specialty components.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure compliance of technical requirements and create/manage project-specific bills of materials.
  • Review mechanical design of compressor package components, including oil and cooling water systems, and review integration of mechanical and control systems.
  • Complete equipment and instrumentation data sheets and other required customer documentation; interact with peers across company to resolve issues as required.
  • Reports to Alex Piccolo.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
