About the role
- Sell Event Sponsorship opportunities for our Events
- Attend Industry trade shows to solicit new business
- Close new business and further develop existing business
- Introduce new products and services to sell
- Service your clients at Frost & Sullivan Events
- Help to establish a presence as “the event” in the industry
- Work with production team in securing top-notch speakers
- Participate in weekly meetings to brainstorm new ideas that will allow us to continue to improve the quality of our events and sponsorships
- Use mastery of the position and leadership skills to advance with the Company.
- Immerse yourself in your key markets in order to be able to communicate effectively about the corresponding industry to senior level executives
- Create and manage a pipeline of prospects in order to grow the client base and ensure target attainment.
- Manage accounts and projects on-site to guarantee success and build client relationships.
- Renew and solidify relationships to grow business and overall marketing spend
- Build internal relationships and partnerships with the divisions you support to prospect and close Event Sponsorship opportunities
- Develop and grow a strong comprehension of the sales process, including an understanding of the value proposition and value based selling
- Coordinate with marketing and the project management team to help drive success and returns for your client’s program.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in marketing sales and stellar account management
- 3+ years sales experience, including cold calling and expertise in lead generation
- Business or Marketing degree preferred
- Sponsorship sales experience preferred
- Experience prospecting Senior Executives at Global 1000 companies through multiple avenues
- Show initiative; be self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Have a positive “can do” attitude and ability to communicate at various levels of an organization
- Be meticulous with details and possess solid closing and follow-up skills
- Have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Be flexible and enjoy working with people
- Exceptional time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities
- Proficient research ability.
