About the role
- Manage a team of specialized engineers (CPQ and Partner/PRM).
- Mentor the team on code quality, design patterns, and Salesforce best practices.
- Lead the Agile process and manage sprint planning.
- Oversee the CI/CD pipeline and sandbox strategy for zero-downtime deployments.
- Own the "Big Picture" of holistic system design and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
- Conduct architectural reviews and manage technical debt.
- Partner with GTM Leadership to translate business strategy into a technical roadmap.
- Act as the final reviewer for all major system changes to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- 7+ years in the Salesforce Ecosystem, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or lead architect capacity.
- Deep Architectural Knowledge of Quote-to-Cash, Partner Ecosystems, and Lead-to-Legacy systems in a complex SaaS environment.
- Proven experience managing engineering sprints, using tools like JIRA/Asana.
- Ability to explain Technical Debt to a non-technical VP of Sales.
- Advanced knowledge of Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, and Integration middleware (Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier).
- Salesforce Certified Application/System Architect (Required).
