• Building and maintaining shared backend frameworks, libraries, and internal tooling used by engineering teams across Front
• Designing and implementing systems with a strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and performance — including our task queue, batch job framework, database ORM, and real-time event infrastructure
• Owning and evolving our CI/CD systems, ensuring fast, reliable, and safe delivery pipelines

• Design features that empower developers and administrators to integrate Front with third-party tools and build AI-powered automation—helping teams deliver exceptional customer service.
• Execute on and evolve our design system by designing, refining, and documenting intuitive components that maintain consistency across the product.
• Design product experiences across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers in Santiago, San Francisco, and Paris to deliver impactful design solutions.

• We are looking for engineers to join our Foundations team.
• This team is the steward of frameworks and systems upon which other teams build customer-facing functionality.
• Though building shared libraries, frameworks, and tooling, they ensure that the foundations upon which we build Front are scalable and reliable.
• You’ll get exposure to many different types of systems across production frameworks (e.g. our task queue system that powers our event-driven architecture, our database ORM, real time events, CI/CD, and our batch job framework).
• You’ll heavily influence Front’s backend architecture and the patterns employed by the broader engineering team.
• Your primary stakeholders are other engineering teams within Front.

Senior Software Engineer – Foundation

• Lead Engineering in LATAM
• Own delivery outcomes for LATAM-centric EPD teams
• Partner closely with Global Product, Design and Engineering leadership to ensure roadmap delivery, quality, reliability and customer value
• Drive consistent engineering standards, tooling, and development practices aligned with global teams
• Proactively identify delivery risks, capacity constraints, and execution gaps
• Operate as the regional technical executive, owning delivery outcomes and the health of the engineering organization in Santiago
