About the role
- Develop and execute strategic operational plans for U.S. manufacturing sites
- Oversee the financial performance of all U.S. Specialty Components sites, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L
- Develop and execute capital investment strategies across U.S. sites to support operational needs
- Lead standardization of operational processes, KPIs, and reporting across sites
- Partner with the President of the SBU to identify and implement operational improvements
- Oversee and support Site Plant Managers in driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement
- Optimize labor, equipment, and capacity utilization across the U.S. footprint
- Improve cost-site alignment by implementing consistent cost control measures
- Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Business Development teams
- Serve as a key operational representative in customer meetings and audits
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and external partners
- Foster a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field required
- Graduate Degree (e.g., MBA or technical Master’s) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
- Proven success leading multi-site operations and cross-functional teams, including direct customer engagement
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, capital project execution, and cost control
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational standardization practices
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Effective communicator and leader with a demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners
- Able to navigate a matrixed organization and build alignment across global and regional teams
