About the role

  • Develop and execute strategic operational plans for U.S. manufacturing sites
  • Oversee the financial performance of all U.S. Specialty Components sites, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L
  • Develop and execute capital investment strategies across U.S. sites to support operational needs
  • Lead standardization of operational processes, KPIs, and reporting across sites
  • Partner with the President of the SBU to identify and implement operational improvements
  • Oversee and support Site Plant Managers in driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement
  • Optimize labor, equipment, and capacity utilization across the U.S. footprint
  • Improve cost-site alignment by implementing consistent cost control measures
  • Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Business Development teams
  • Serve as a key operational representative in customer meetings and audits
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and external partners
  • Foster a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field required
  • Graduate Degree (e.g., MBA or technical Master’s) preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Proven success leading multi-site operations and cross-functional teams, including direct customer engagement
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, capital project execution, and cost control
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational standardization practices
  • Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant regulatory requirements
  • Effective communicator and leader with a demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Able to navigate a matrixed organization and build alignment across global and regional teams
