About the role
- Develop and cultivate relationships with a wide range of decision-makers, targeted customers, and key opinion leaders
- Meet and/or exceed the annual sales plan and year-over-year growth targets as defined by management
- Identify target opportunities and/or accounts, as well as develop and implement a strategy to maintain a sufficient sales pipeline needed to achieve the strategic growth targets and initiatives as defined by management
- Ensure positive customer relationships are maintained, and customer satisfaction is achieved
- Communicate and report activities, itineraries, sales strategies, and program developments as defined by management
- Participate in and provide support to trade shows, sales meetings, and other sales-related functions as requested and/or defined by management
- Maintain effective use of travel and expenses as defined by management and in accordance with Corporate Travel and Expense policies
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (preferred); or, Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical voice restoration experience or related experience (preferred)
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Quebec French
- Strong in-depth knowledge of promoted products, competitors, physiology, medical literature, and scientific innovations
- Ability to apply strategic thought, planning and execution to maximize sales opportunities within key accounts
- Ability to adapt selling approach with multiple specialties and customer segments
- Self-Managed; capable of working from remote location with limited supervision
- Effectively utilize computer software and technology enabled sales resources for planning, forecasting, reviewing sales activity, researching data, supporting sales calls, medical education presentations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational / multi-tasking skills
- Strong Relationship Skills / Team Player (internal & external)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
- 70% Travel Required, 3 out of 4 weeks of the month (utilizing effective travel practices)
- Resides in Quebec province.
