Participates in system implementation/business process projects.
Contributes to reporting, analytical, and date enrichment activities.
Reviews inventory data within Inventory Planning System.
Create analysis on Market trends and develop analysis in support of bid activities.
Prepares system and business process training documentation.
Assists with execution of training and system/business process rollout activities.
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited university pursuing a degree, bachelor’s or higher, in Supply Chain, logistics, or closely related field; OR Recent college graduate (within 12 months prior to internship start date) with a degree, bachelor’s or higher, Supply Chain, logistics, or closely related field.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
Knowledge of purchasing rules, regulations, inventory control systems and methods, forms purchase orders and accounts payable processes.
Ability to research and gather information related to vendors, contracts, equipment and supplies.
Ability to use computer databases to research, maintain and update records and files.
Preferred: Able to use a variety of computer software, including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft office suite)
Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Ability to understand, apply and communicate verbal and written work and safety-related instructions, procedures, job assignments and applicable safety standards in English.
