About the role
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customer, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions and first-class service and support
- Work closely with internal departments, ensuring processes are followed, and queries handled effectively and professionally
- Support the national account management team to develop customer relationships and unlocking opportunities with effective communication
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the coffee industry
- Support rollouts and scalable placements to ensure customer needs and timescales are met
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience within contract catering account management, ideally related to coffee or coffee equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical information
- High enthusiasm and eagerness for a new challenge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to travel across the UK meeting customers and end user sites
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & CRM systems
