About the role
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and/or established inventory control processes, procedures, and work methods in accordance with industry standards, department and company objectives, and policies and requirements
- Managing and coordinating regular cycle counts and cycle counters
- Coordinating material obsolescence handling and prevention with other departments
- Maintaining communication and coordinating with the appropriate person(s) and/or department(s) to continuously improve inventory accuracy and maintain awareness of current activities and issues
- Managing, preparing, and conducting physical inventories
- Compiling KPI’s on operational performance and Warehouse productivity
- Working to improve operational performance by managing the slotting of parts in the Warehouse
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and/or established quality assurance processes, procedures, and work methods in accordance with industry standards, department and company objectives, and policies and requirements
- Maintaining quality assurance records
- Taking corrective action as required in maintaining the above
- Coordinates, with Human Resources, all aspects of employee relations including but not limited to, employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training and development, etc.
- Reliable attendance is required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS/BA degree (Experience may substitute for Education)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse or inventory control environment
- Forklift certification as needed
