About the role
- The Director, Property Operations provides Executive leadership to a Portfolio Manager group.
- This role is accountable for all operations of the assets in their inventory, on-site employees, and enforcing company policies.
- Manages client relations, budgets, KPIs, and strategic initiatives for assigned assets.
- Oversees day-to-day activities, staff development, and performance reviews for the Portfolio Manager Group.
- Supports business development, acquisitions, and compliance with affordable housing programs where applicable.
- Represents the organization at conferences, meetings, and trade shows.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Regional leadership role, within a Property Management organization.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
- College degree in a relatable field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the field of property management.
- Certification or designation from an accredited organization, preferred (ARM, CAM, CAPS, COS, CPM, MPM, RMP, etc.).
- Valid Real Estate Salesperson License (requirement varies by state).
- Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
- Position is telecommuting approved.
