About the role

  • Represent and sell sports products (primarily baseball/softball-related) at mobile tour locations
  • Engage with customers, providing product information and recommendations
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic presence at events
  • Independently manage your schedule and set up sales stations at various tour stops
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds of sports equipment and displays as required
  • Maintain inventory and ensure the sales area is organized and presentable
  • Work effectively with little supervision while ensuring all event goals are met
  • Gather contacts and build a customer base
  • Prepare weekly reports
  • Help product team identify market changes and help with field testing
  • Maintain appearance of company vehicles

Requirements

  • Knowledge of baseball and softball sports and equipment
  • High school degree required
  • 2-3 years of sales or sales support experience required
  • Full-Time/Weekend Availability Required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage a flexible schedule
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Manage and track inventory
  • Geographic territory, but travel outside set area may be required
  • Clean driving record
