About the role
- Represent and sell sports products (primarily baseball/softball-related) at mobile tour locations
- Engage with customers, providing product information and recommendations
- Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic presence at events
- Independently manage your schedule and set up sales stations at various tour stops
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds of sports equipment and displays as required
- Maintain inventory and ensure the sales area is organized and presentable
- Work effectively with little supervision while ensuring all event goals are met
- Gather contacts and build a customer base
- Prepare weekly reports
- Help product team identify market changes and help with field testing
- Maintain appearance of company vehicles
Requirements
- Knowledge of baseball and softball sports and equipment
- High school degree required
- 2-3 years of sales or sales support experience required
- Full-Time/Weekend Availability Required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage a flexible schedule
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers
- Weekend availability is required
- Manage and track inventory
- Geographic territory, but travel outside set area may be required
- Clean driving record
