- Fox Television Sales is currently seeking a Political Account Executive in Philadelphia PA, Washington DC, or New York NY, with exceptional sales acumen and proven experience in driving political ad revenue across both broadcast television and digital platforms, including Connected TV (CTV). This role requires strong relationship management skills, a deep understanding of the political advertising landscape, and the ability to successfully implement data-driven sales strategies, all while providing outstanding client services.
- Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain relationships with political agencies, campaign media buyers, PACs, and advocacy groups.
- Lead and implement political campaigns on national, state, and local levels through both broadcast and digital platforms, ensuring that revenue goals are achieved.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Utilize proficient skills in both linear and digital negotiations.
- Analyze political ad spending trends to provide market insights and identify high-value markets for ad placements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of FCC regulations, public file reporting, and internal policies.
- Provide concise reporting, including weekly pending/posting, and quarterly forecasting
Requirements
- Thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, manage multiple accounts and negotiate high-stakes deals
- Strong creative, organizational, planning, and prospecting skills
- In-depth knowledge of television ratings and research, especially Nielsen and ComScore
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in broadcast television and digital platform political sales; OTT platforms experience highly preferred
