About the role
- As a Market Development Director/Thought Leader Liaison, develop and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and Key Health Systems
- Collaborate with other functions to plan and coordinate interactions with KOLs
- Gather feedback and intel in region to inform KOL mapping, regional strategy, annual brand planning, and other initiatives
- Attend relevant Advisory Boards & market research events
- Operate in compliance with United Therapeutics compliance policies and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing or other commercial business role in the medical or pharmaceutical industry, with a Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in sales, marketing or other commercial business role in the medical or pharmaceutical industry, with a Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience working KOLs
- Ability to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships, understand and execute brand and franchise strategy as well as manage projects to hit key deliverables
- Excellent communication, (written and oral) presentation and strong interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and results-driven
- Ability to travel up to 70%
