Medical Director

• Ensure individual subject safety and the scientific integrity of studies during the clinical development of United Therapeutics Corporation (UTC) products in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable regulatory guidelines and company standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Provide medical expertise, advice, and guidance to members of the clinical development project teams as required and needed
• Provide medical support for routine medical inquiries for internal and external study teams and sites
• Provide on-call medical support for urgent medical inquiries
• Conduct medical monitoring activities for allocated clinical studies; including review and approval of study protocols with particular focus on study design, scheduled assessments, and protection of subject safety
• Review and approve all versions of the patient information leaflet and informed consent form templates
• Participate in the draft, review and ownership of study-specific medical monitoring plans (MMP)
• Review study statistical analysis plans
• Provide appropriate clinical training for internal and external study team members and site personnel as and when required before and during conduct of studies
• Review serious adverse events (SAEs) that occur during studies when they are notified to Global Drug Safety to assist in identifying any emergent safety concerns that may be related to study conduct
• Review safety information, including adverse events and clinical laboratory data during study conduct
• Support the Data Monitoring Committee (DMC)/Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) when such a Committee is constituted for a study
• Review draft data listings, including coded data, provided by Data Management, to ensure medical consistency of the data
• Participate in the review and interpretation of study data
• Document all medical monitoring activities and communications related to allocated studies

Senior Medical Director – Medical Monitoring

Sales

• Maintain and increase sales of all UT products, with a primary focus on Tyvaso, assigned within a defined territory of targeted physicians and key accounts through effective territory management and execution of sales/marketing strategies.
• Serves as an important educational resource for all physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of PH-ILD and/or IPF.
• Promote marketed products according to corporate guidance in an assigned geographic territory and designated accounts to actively interface with the PH-ILD and IPF community.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with various customer types (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and specialty distributor staff) to ensure maximal product messaging and education on assigned UT products.
• Analyze sales reports and develop and implement business plans to increase business and drive sales in key accounts, achieving or exceeding target sales goals.
• Coordinate activities with other field-based team members to optimize selling, education, and support efforts.
• Appropriately and effectively utilize available resources to drive sales with key customers.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of disease state, product, and competitive landscape.
• Utilize sales force automation system to maximize territory effectiveness and record-keeping.

Senior Lung Disease Sales Specialist – Rare Disease

Engineer

• Support and troubleshoot complex manufacturing automation and distributed control systems
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, networks, and validated OT platforms in a highly regulated environment
• Provide key technical and automation support for complex distributed control systems and manufacturing automation systems
• Perform system and equipment troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and field devices under strict change control
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures on system and/or equipment as required
• Perform network troubleshooting, database troubleshooting and repair programming
• Ensure PLC specifications, designs, programming standards and implementation and verify those standards are being met
• Ensure GAMP/cGxP procedures and testing implementation are followed
• Provide system support for Operational Technology systems

Controls Engineer II, Operational Technology

Compliance

• Serve as a Compliance business partner supporting Commercial and Medical Affairs activities (e.g., speaker programs, advisory boards, exhibits, educational grants, etc.), providing strategic and day-to-day advisory support
• Provide timely, solutions-oriented guidance to Commercial and Medical stakeholders on complex and nuanced compliance matters
• Drive implementation and evolution of the Commercial and Medical Affairs compliance strategy in alignment with senior Compliance leadership
• Anticipate and proactively identify internal and external business challenges and regulatory risks, developing and recommending practical, risk-based solutions
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, promoting a proactive, partnership-driven approach to Compliance
• Serve as a recognized subject matter expert, providing guidance across the organization and influencing decision-making
• Assess and escalate high-risk, novel, or complex compliance issues to senior Compliance leadership, as appropriate, with clear recommendations
