Senior Product Designer

Data Engineer

• Embed Data Strategy: Partner with vertical Product Managers and Engineering leads during the design phase of new features. You will ensure that every Product Requirement Document (PRD) includes a defined data strategy—specifying exactly how data is captured, stored, and validated.
• Design Review: Act as a technical reviewer for major product initiatives, asking the critical questions: *“How does this change the data model? Does this create a duplicate field in core applications? How will we report on this?”*
• Standardization: Establish the standards for how our Product team defines data requirements, ensuring consistency in how we track loan lifecycles, customer statuses, and financial transactions across different squads.
• Data Modeling: Oversee the logical data model within our Core Applications and Salesforce. You will ensure that as we scale, our schema remains clean, normalized, and efficient, preventing "tech debt" in the form of messy or redundant data fields.
• Lineage & Overrides: Own the logic for Data Lineage and Data Overrides. You will define the rules for which system is the "source of truth" when data conflicts occur and ensure we have an audit trail for manual overrides in core apps.
• Governance at the Source: Implement "Governance by Design" by working with Engineering to build validation rules and constraints directly into the application layer, preventing bad data from ever entering our ecosystem.
• The Analytics Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between the Product/Engineering organization and the Analytics/Data Science teams. You will ensure that upstream application changes do not break downstream reporting or AI models.
• Translation: Translate complex analytical requirements (e.g., specific features needed for a risk model) into actionable engineering tickets for the Core Application teams.
• Data Availability: Ensure that the data generated by our products is accessible, documented, and structured in a way that allows the Analytics team to self-serve, reducing the dependency on ad-hoc engineering support.

Senior Product Manager – Data Platform and Integrity

Manager

• Lead the next phase of Forward’s brand strategy, positioning, tone, and visual identity for our customers, partners, and employees
• Support the evolution and ongoing and management of brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand execution across all touchpoints
• Drive cross-functional alignment on key brand proof points, messaging, and competitive points of differentiation
• Act as the brand steward to protect the Forward brand and ensure all creative output across functional groups is consistent, meets the needs outlined in the brief, and drives intended results
• Own creative agency relationships, onboarding of new agency partners as needed, and internal creative execution to ensure impactful results that drives brand awareness and new customer acquisition
• Identify and manage brand partnerships that help elevate Forward’s mission and positively impact our SMB customers
• Own brand health measurement and reporting
• Lead social media strategy across owned channels (existing & new) and shape monthly editorial calendar based on our key strategic pillars to drive engagement, thought leadership, and positive brand reputation
• Build Forward’s content marketing engine focused on SMB education, product value/benefits, and industry insights to support customer engagement and drive brand loyalty through added value content
• Identify innovative content formats that resonate with our customers and manage all end-to end production and execution including brief development and keyword optimization strategies
• Identify key social media KPIs and own measurement and reporting across all social media and content platforms
• Manage corporate reputation and messaging by developing a PR strategy that supports brand reputation, government affairs, and builds industry credibility
• Support our government affairs team by partnering to develop customer advocate programs, paid and earned media opportunities in high-quality relevant platforms, and working with other industry advocacy groups to build positive category support
• Source and manage PR agency relationships, measurement, and ongoing program development
• Partner with sales teams to develop Forward’s narrative to support new partner/BD efforts including competitive points of differentiation, benefits to partnering with us, and strategic differentiation
• Elevate sales content with data support to create partner impact statements that highlight our unique benefits, enhance credibility, and build the Forward brand for our partners
• Develop self-serve tools for partners and identify the optimal delivery methods for maximum impact including digital portal, newsletters and other channels
• Create high-impact incentive and relationship-building programs in partnership with sales to help win the hearts and minds of our partners as we maximize value to our customers
• Support the sales team with all onboarding, training, and other sales materials that help drive Forward’s credibility and attracts new partners to help us grow and scale
• Assess partner event opportunities and develop plans to most effectively capitalize on these events to drive partner engagement and new partner partner activation

Senior Manager, Brand & External Communication

Technical Product Manager

• Own the product roadmap for the decision engine, focusing on maximizing approval rates and minimizing risk exposure, while also balancing this against improving the speed and accuracy of offer generation across multiple workstreams to drive funding volume.
• Manage the API integrations and data exchange between the third-party decision engine and our internal core applications. Implement technical solutions to optimize data flow stability, scalability, and accuracy.
• Own complex projects within the decisioning and offer drafting space, driving them from ideation through launch and post-release analysis.
• Act as the liason between engineers and business stakeholders (Pricing & Strategy, Underwriting, Sales). You must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members and vice versa.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and execute A/B tests to continuously refine decisioning parameters, communicating solutions and impacts to stakeholders.
• Mentor newer team members within the product organization, raising issues, suggestions, and proposing new ideas to increase development and engagement of your team members.
• Educate and coach others on business processes related to financing and offer drafting. Participate actively in identifying and proposing business process improvements across the larger workstream.
• Expand product knowledge to include similar internal and competitive systems, leveraging this market intelligence to enable effective product decision-making.
